I received a fitted diaper from Priya Tolanavar for prelaunch review. It's made of unbleached organic cotton and very soft to touch. Comes with a stitched insert and a snappable booster. Like all their diapers, this can also be presized at the waist and no confusion while snapping onto a baby. After around 4 wash, I used it for night time and it lasted for 7hours for my heavy wetter 8 months daughter who side sleeps mostly. I used it without the cover and the cloth below was just damp to touch. As its Monsoon, I wanted it to last a bit longer, so I used another booster insert received for pockets in between the stitched insert and booster of fitted. It was really not so bulky as I thought it would be and was happy to put a night pant over it comfortably. It lasted me a good 9-10hrs with the pant being damp to touch around the crotch area. Inserts, boosters were nearly saturated and the shell was not fully wet at the back. Additional booster is still not fully prepped, so I believe it would last 11hrs easily once prepped. So, for all those who are looking for a fitted diaper with natural fibre, 100% organic cotton, this is it.
Its quite trim, thanks to the ever thin inserts, good absorbency and looks pretty neat in off white :)
The only cons, if at all if I have to think of is the drying time which is bit longer. That too, if you don't stretch the back elastic and the stitched insert well while putting on the line.
I cloth diapered my older son and have again chosen to cloth diaper my younger one, I can notice the evolution of this science of cloth diapering since then, innate diapers' innovative new design will surely become a part of this, the absorbency is great and i can feel that my baby's comfortable. I use it for night time as this one is most absorbent of all diapers in my stash,AIOs are next in my wish list.
The diaper is very well made, uses a very good quality unbleached organic cotton. It is very soft to touch, and looks pretty good. It needed a few washes to setup and get absorbent, being fully made of natural fabric. Laundering is simple.
The shell is constructed differently as compared to a usual diaper. There are two side panels with snaps, so those can be pre-adjusted so that there's not much thinking or adjusting to do while snapping the diaper on. There are only 2 snaps per side. This makes it fairly easy to snap a diaper on a wriggly baby.
I initially used it as a pull on successfully. However, stopped doing it after the first time - it is not intended to be a pull on, might damage the diaper and elastics, so refrained.
About 10 times+, I used the shell with insert and booster separately while prepping. It worked to contain daytime pee fairly well. Proceeded to using for the night after it looked fully prepped (old, shrunk, lightly pilled).
It worked amazingly well with a liner and wool cover at night for my 360 degree heavy wetting sleeper. I'll admit that it was soaked through once, but held well enough to work for us.
For a fitted, it is astonishingly trim. On the flip side, it runs smaller than an average one size diaper, so users who are diapering slightly older kids should check with them first before placing an order.
The diaper takes slightly long to dry, but not too much.
It is not a cheap diaper. However, I believe it's worth the amount.
